Felix’s nursery has just moved into new premises and I made them a new logo / modular illustration / info-graphic. The full version is to be used on signs and for other big display situations. The graphic is broken down into smaller components for use on uniforms, email signature, prospectus and stationery, etc. Read More >

This coming Saturday we’re turning the front two rooms of our house into a gallery – at 59 High Street, Saffron Walden, 10am – 4.30pm. Michelle will be selling her collages – originals and limited edition prints, including a new screen print by Up The Arts and a giclee/screen print by Jealous Print Studio. I’ll have copies of BUS STOP – my Curwen print of Walden Hight Street and the first run of LIGHT TRAFFIC ONLY, white tea towels and mugs decorated with the black type found on white village signposts. China Mug – #2nd Edition


This is the first in a series of homeware and gift products featuring the typography found on white village sign posts. Older signs are cast in steel, later versions rivet individual metal letters onto wooden posts. The signs are slowly disappearing – they are vandalised, buried in hedges, destroyed in car accidents and inevitably replaced with their modern equivalent. Read More >

Perhaps not surprisingly, a lot of environmental communication from brands, and the event itself, with a sustainability/innovation themed hall.
