The Hepworth Prize for Sculpture:

hepworth_barlow_5
Second visit to the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield for their new sculpture prize – Phyllida Barlow, Steven Claydon, Helen Marten and David Medalla. Also 2016 Turner Prize nominee Anthea Hamilton’s “Kettle’s Yard at The Hepworth Wakefield”. Well worth the detour and major domestic map reading blow-up on our way home from North Yorks via Leeds to Wakefield. Such a great place and amazing work. Kids blown away and preconceptions successfully challenged, ours too.
