The Soft Landscape:

Aid&Abet_April15_7
David Kefford and Sarah Evans of Aid & Abet are nearing the end of a year long residency at the North West Cambridge Art Programme studio space on the site of a major new housing and community development by Cambridge University. I have visited them in their studio several times since last November. Their work has documented, and reacted to, the changing landscape – discovering and creating assemblage of found material, creating a fragmented narrative of the site.

Currently David and Sarah are preparing for their outcomes exhibition “GRAVEL” in May (with fellow residency artists Bedwyr Williams and Fernando García-Dory), editing hundreds of images, drawings, films and writings which they will present as a book The Soft Landscape. The exhibition takes the form of a weekend of events, film screenings, installations, presentations and discussions.

I have been working with NW Cambs Arts and The Contemporary Art Society on a launch invite and poster for the exhibition. Also with David and Sarah on a few projects including a new identity for Aid & Abet and for their new gallery space ELAN (Experimental Local Area Network), part of the CB1 development close to the railway station in Cambridge.
