New logotype and identity for the Liverpool based product designer.
In October 2009 Ilsa Parry won the BBC Design For Life TV series in which 12 designers competed for a placement at Philippe Starck’s Paris studio. Ilsa’s products are designed for modern living, whether a ghost shaped low-voltage children’s night light, drinks glasses designed for outdoor use, seating concepts, etc. We wanted to create an identity that alluded to her unique and innovative approach and researched a number of graphic directions with Ilsa before arriving at the final idea.

The fractured logo is bold, distinctive and memorable. The identity needs to support Ilsa as her diverse business develops. It communicates a distinct creative voice and demonstrates the sophistication and quality of her work. The logotype will be rubber stamped onto packaging and foil blocked onto business stationery.
