tate_spiderWalked round the Louise Bourgeois exhibition with Marco. She’s 96 now I think and has worked through most of the major art movements of the 20th Century and she’s still going. Particularly liked her circular Rooms with walls made from old doors joined at the hinges in a spiral. Also some great fabric heads and this big spider. Read More >

maps_1Me, Simon and Dick had a jolly boys outing to Maps at The Soul Tree in Cambridge. A small bar, with a dance floor. There was only about 200 people and even if you stood at the back you were no more than 7/8 meters away. Very small scale for the first night of their tour. He’s a geek type but in a good way, head down shuffling about the tiny stage. He didn’t say much, just “thanks, cheers” after every track. At the end he wondered about talking to anyone who wanted to say hello. Even got a free CD. Read More >
