Icon is a greetings card and print/frame manufacturer. Apropos provided a general design and consultancy service. We created design templates for themed card collections, trade shows, promotional material, advertising and packaging. The Icon corporate logotype mixes the classical Baskerville typeface with a contemporary and individual graphic element. We wanted the brand to communicate values of reliability and quality with those of modernity and innovation.

A series of cards initially based on classic black and white photographs of stars from the 1950′s – 80′s. This was later developed to include colour images. We designed a graphic style referencing headine type of the sixties, record covers and movie posters. Various typographic layouts were provided, including vertical and horizontal options.
